Alexander is at such a fun age we decided we were going to have a little fun with St. Patrick's Day this year! We set up shop the night before and were super excited about all the witty comments we thought he was going to come up with! He was over the moon excited, but thought we needed to find the "sweet Leprechaun" to give him his hat/pot of gold back! We had to explain to him a few times that the Leprechaun left the goodies just for him! After it sunk in he exclaimed, "AWW I love the Leprechaun! He is so sweet! I want to hug him!"
He reassured me before we put him down for his nap that the Leprechaun was going to come and leave him some more gold coins while he was sleeping. I had to explain that he only comes once a year. Alexander wasn't very happy, but honestly I don't think he was fooled. Anthony went to lay him down for his nap and before he shut the door Alexander popped his head up and said, "Thank you for my Gold coins!" hahaha We enjoyed a fun filled day of green foods and chocolate loot!
